The shortlist and compare tray are stored in localStorage on your device. WhichVac does not receive that list.
If you create a price alert, we store your email, the model id, an optional target price, and an unsubscribe token. The legal basis we rely on is the request you just made. Alerts are sent only for live price-feed changes, not for the cited snapshots shipped with the site. Unsubscribe from the link in the email, or write to hello@whichvac.com.
On a normal Vercel deploy those subscriptions sit in a private Blob store when BLOB_READ_WRITE_TOKEN is set. Without that token they are written to a local JSON file, which works on a machine you control and does not persist on Vercel’s serverless filesystem.
Clicking a shop link can set that shop’s own cookies. Their policy applies. Amazon Associates uses the tag on the link to attribute a sale.
On comparerobotvacuums.com and www.comparerobotvacuums.com, pages load Google Analytics 4. Google sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ plus the measurement id. With the default id that second cookie is _ga_B7YX9NS5MT. Google receives the page you opened, a client id, and browser data. Clicking an Amazon link sends an amazon_click event with the link URL, the trimmed link text, the page path, and the ASIN and placement when those are known. Shop links also send an affiliate_click event with the link URL, the page path, and the product name and ASIN when those are known. Localhost and Vercel preview hosts do not load the tag. Details are in Google’s privacy policy.
We do not sell personal data. Questions: hello@whichvac.com.
