WhichVac editorial standards
WhichVac editorial standards are simple. Rankings use a published formula on cited specs. A manufacturer cannot pay for a higher place. If a source did not publish a number, the page says Not published.
What we will publish
A spec needs a source name, a URL, and the date we read it. Seed prices are cited snapshots or brand-page prices, labeled with that date. They are not described as a live shop quote.
Amazon prices
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. The Amazon row shows a price only when the Creators API, or PA-API if Creators has no quote, returns one. Keepa, Rainforest, and magazine prices are not written onto that row. Amazon links include the Associates tag whichvaccgn-20 and use rel="sponsored nofollow".
Scores
Cleaning, smart features, low maintenance, and value are documented on the methodology page. Value uses the recorded price, so it is marked partial until a live feed replaces a snapshot. Guide score 100 means first on that list, not a lab grade.
Drafts
New buying guides can ship as drafts. A draft is noindex and is omitted from the sitemap until the owner approves it. The draft banner on the page says so.
Corrections
Send corrections to hello@whichvac.com. Name the model, the cell, and the source URL. That mailbox is a placeholder until the owner connects a real inbox.
Questions people ask
What are WhichVac editorial standards?
Cite the source and date, leave blanks as Not published, and do not sell rank. Amazon prices come only from the Creators API or PA-API.
Does WhichVac test robot vacuums in a lab?
No. Scores are arithmetic on published specs. A partial flag means an input was missing or assumed, and the breakdown says which.
Who can correct a spec?
Email hello@whichvac.com. That address is a placeholder until the owner connects a real inbox. Include the source URL and the cell you dispute.
Are review prices shown as Amazon prices?
No. Review and brand-page figures stay in the snapshot list. The Amazon row is empty until a live Creators API or PA-API quote arrives.
Are draft guides in Google's index?
No. Drafts use noindex and are left out of the sitemap. They stay drafts until the owner approves them.
